Doom, Boom, and Data Centers

Gabriella Hoffman of the IWF's Center for Energy and Conservation joins host Andrew on what was supposed to be a Live but is now a recording. Adapt & Overcome

So, apologies, this was supposed to be a Substack Live but there were technical problems, but professionals we are, we adapted, overcame, and got some of what we wanted to discuss on video.

Anywho…datacenters.

Our friend Gabriella Hoffman of IWF, Outsider on the Inside Substack, District of Conservation Podcast, and a whole bunch of other stuff returns to talk about her policy focus work on data centers. We turn down the noise of the boom prophets and doom merchants to talk what data centers are and aren’t, where the policy needs to go for honest questions and reasonable regulation, historical lessons about energy and computers that affect where we are now and where we are going in the future, how conservation is a good angle to take on tech innovations, and much more.
