I truly wonder if I will ever again look at a ballot for President of the United States of America and see the name of someone worthy to hold the office.
Ran across this doing some reading while writing this that goes to that point - “It's supposed to be about Washington, but can you really point to anything that looks or sounds like him?" (historian Alexis Cole) said. “Jefferson and Lincoln are presented as people with limbs and noses and words associated with their memorials. And he's just a giant, granite point. He has been sanded down to have absolutely no identifiable features.”
